the Naughty one!!!After I finished the post yesterday and had packed up, closed the PC down thank goodness a lady lady phoned from Cutmill about 2-3 miles from where we had walked and waited for Jed; to say she had him in her garden. he had been seen running through fields by other people, and turned up in her garden quite scared as he was yelping. John went to collect him and let him have it with rolled up news paper. He was not allowed any food till 8 pm about 3 hours after his usual time. He came home very subdued, and slink in, trying to make up to us both. I hoped that he had learnt a lesson, it seems as if he might have as this afternoon when John took them for a walk in the woods behind the White Horse in Hascombe, (there are deer there too) he behaved impeccably circling around John and popping up periodically. Phew they were a few bad moments. I still don't trust him totally but we will have to see. It certainly spoilt walks for me; and I had a bad night over it. This afternoon we are taking them to Mr. Cully the vet we used have for Emma as John wants a 2nd opinion on their condition.

he actually had us all on edge, you tell him that from me... glad it's over for you!
glad the naughty chap has shown up!
I always thought Shakespear had an 'e' on the end of it you know like Shakespeare - unless you aren't talking about William that is.
see http://www.shaksper.net/archives/2001/0584.html
Hazlitt himself used the spelling "Shakespear" because he lived before the modern fixed spelling of Shakespeare's name was adopted
if Hazlitt can do it....
it was William, but there are infinite ways of spelling it, though the e at the end is the usual one.
