In the New Year

Here we are at least 10 days into the New year and I haven't written very much. Life has been that hectic. For New year's Eve we went down on the 30th, or is it up, no I think westwards to spend it with my sister Maryse and David at her super cottage in Glos. Lovely place. The Jellies were more than welcome.
We arrived on Sunday in the late afternoon; there had been no sign of Beanie as yet, but it wasn't due till the 31st. Had been afraid that we might have had to postpone it due to Beanie's imminent arrival, but not a bit of it. Nothing on the 31st so we celebrated in style: here we are at the festive table, with our crowns on and another
We managed to stay up till the end to see the fabulous fireworks in London on TV. They were out of this world and went on and on for 15 minutes exploding in an enormous finale. Just the thing to see the old year out and the new one in. Let us hope it will be a much better one, although 2007 wasn't that bad. Even though I turned 75, am getting more creaky and broke my leg.
Meanwhile still no Beanie, come along baby and show your self.
I salute you all and leave you with this little final gadget for you to play with.

Need a Snow Day?
