Well, well its no longer boohoo, rather hip hip

Actually I don't want to hooray too much as I have lost all faith in this Mesh. But to update it finally was returned to me on the 10th July, Louise' s birthday. Maybe it was a present from her to me via the Mesh people. No, I think it was because of the 2nd stinking letter I sent to the manager which really gave results. They then bend over backwards to get the Mesh back to me. They even paid extra for the courier to deliver before 10 am. And it did come, well 10 past 10. So this is what arrived:
June hurried over to help me after I unpacked it, they even included the new wireless keyboard. But that also caused problems, it took ages and another call to the repair centre at base. Luckily Kumar who had been finally in charge and who had expedited everything, was available after some throwing about of weight and he talked us through it. Hopefully we will be able to do the same when the batteries run out and new ones replaced. But at June's prompting everything we did was written down in my little book.

It is now nearly a week and it is behaving itself. I have installed several of my programs, one of the first was AOL so we could get back on the Internet. After that my new Microsoft Office 2007 which is really great although it has taken me some time on a learning curve. It is so brilliant that it takes me twice as long as I have to find where everything is. Its quite different to Microsoft XP Office, but no doubt like XP itself after a while I will have no more problems; it should be rather intuitive.
So I will sign off like this and keeping my fingers crossed.
